First time Portlander

Green as far as the eye can see. Green on top of green. Every shade. I was overwhelmed how green a place could be. 

After spending the first leg of our trip surrounded by Los Angeles cityscapes, Chris and I needed to find balance in nature. The hikes and trails in and around Portland were stop-me-in-my-tracks breathtaking. The moss. The moss on moss, growing on trees, growing on other trees. 

I felt like I was frolicking with tree fairies and forest sprites - dancing through pages of childhood fairytales.
